Ten years ago, Nordisk developed the ultra-thin 10-denier fabric for the record-breaking Passion sleeping bag in collaboration with Toray Industries from Japan. Together, they have now made the fabric waterproof. The membrane is only 5 microns thick, which is 5/1000 of a millimeter. This makes it the thinnest and most breathable water protection ever created. It withstands 20,000 mm of water pressure while providing an equally unrivaled 20,000 MP of breathability.
