The 2021 release from Nike SB and Baltimore skate shop, Carpet Company, added to the extensive SB Dunk catalog. Known for their one-of-a-kind tees and customized skate decks, Carpet Company incorporates these same DIY characteristics into their first SB collaboration. The Nike SB Dunk High Carpet Company allows wearers to customize the sneaker to their liking with tearaway uppers. White tumbled leather is paired with a semi-translucent blue layer that pays homage to the art of screen printing, a common artistic practice used by the shop for their unique shirts. Underneath the blue fabric is yellow leather with embroidered graphics, giving a whole new look and feel to the sneaker. Hidden messages also appear on the heel with quotes from the Egyptian brothers who own Carpet Company, with the left heel stating "Brought to you by the Habibis at Carpet Company," while the right shows "Nike" in Arabic calligraphy. The Nike SB Dunk High Carpet Company released in March of 2021 for $125.
