Kobe Bryant was a beloved shooting guard for the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, whose storied career captured attention from his rise as a youth in the Philadelphia suburbs until his tragic death in 2020. Having only ever played professionally for the Lakers, the Kobe 8 was designed by Eric Avar, and the Lakers Away colorway was used for the Lakers' away game uniforms.
