The Nike Air DT Max '96 Falcons is a premium sneaker that pays homage to coach and former NFL player Deion Sanders’s early career with the Atlanta Falcons. The upper is crafted from ultra-soft black nubuck with accents in Team Anthracite, Fire Red, and white. This color scheme represents the Falcons’ team colors and celebrates one of Georgia’s top NFL teams. Embroidered in Fire Red and white thread, "21" appears on the heel—a nod to Sanders’s Falcons jersey number. Other Fire Red details include the collar lining, the heel pull tabs, the miniature Swoosh logos near the ankle, and the tongue pull tab. In terms of technology, visible Air Max cushioning provides comfort underfoot. This sneaker is the first DT Max to display Sanders’s jersey number.
