The New Balance 9060 Moonbeam Sea Salt is designed to capture elements of the preceding 99X, a classic New Balance model, and draws inspiration from Y2K era aesthetics. Sea salt, rain cloud, and moonbeam colors are used for the sneaker. The upper is made from an off-white mesh that is fitted with sea salt pigskin suede overlays. Rain cloud accents are found in the "N" logo on the quarter panels and the heel tab with the New Balance logo in off-white. The outer sole is made from a grey rubber sole, while the midsole uses Abzorb and SBS cushioning. The heel has a translucent CR fitting, and the tongue logo features jewels inspired by the 991 sneaker. The shoe’s look is complemented with a grey insole and lining, rain cloud laces, and punched eyelets at the throat.
