The 9060 is a new expression of refined style and innovation-driven design that has made the 99X series home to some of the most iconic models in New Balance's history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements from the classic 99X models with a distorted sensibility inspired by the proud futuristic, visible tech aesthetic of the early 2000s. Sway Bars, borrowed from the 990, are extended and used throughout the upper for a sense of visible movement, while wavy lines and scaled-down proportions on a molded pod midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the familiar cushioning platforms of ABZORB and SBS.
