The Valen 40+5L from Montane is a minimalist yet fully equipped alpine backpack designed for alpine adventures where reliability and flexibility are essential. It is made from an extremely tear-resistant fabric, making it ideal for rugged use in the mountains.

Thanks to the roll-top closure with an additional bivi opening, the volume can be expanded by five liters. An external zip pocket allows for quick access to essential gear, while attachment points for ice axes, ropes, and other tools ensure functional equipment.

The anatomically shaped back area with an integrated aluminum frame provides a close-to-body fit and high stability during technical ascents.
