The Goodyear welt is typical of very high-quality shoes and offers an extremely durable construction that allows for the soles to be replaced repeatedly. It is not uncommon for owners of these shoes to achieve a lifespan of up to 20 years. The latex foam midsole utilizes Soft Air technology, which cushions each step lightly and airy, relieving the knees, hips, and lower back. The natural rubber outsole has been oxygenated to enhance compression and shock absorption while reducing weight.
