- Robust and flexible
- good price-performance ratio
A fully-fledged hardshell that is robust, can do a lot, has good values - and that from Mammut for 325 euros.
With a water column of 20,000 mm, the three-layer Women's Alto Guide Hardshell Hooded Jacket from Mammut provides excellent protection against rain while hiking. The functional Mammut DRY Tour fabric is exceptionally robust and allows moisture from the inside to escape easily. A high collar and the weatherproof hood complement the hardshell jacket. The Women's Alto Guide Hardshell Hooded Jacket features two practical front pockets that are easily accessible even when wearing a climbing harness. The waterproof hood also fits comfortably over a climbing helmet. Mammut equips the mountain sports jacket with a water-repellent front zipper and enhances breathability with ventilation openings under the arms. A PFC-free DWR treatment on the surface allows water droplets and dirt particles to bead off the jacket efficiently. Pre-shaped sleeves, an adjustable hem with a drawstring, and an extra chest pocket complete the durable hardshell jacket.
