Newport is the sandal that started it all for Keen. The stable strap design provides good support for the foot, while the rubber outsole with multidirectional lugs and cut-perforated profile offers perfect traction on any terrain. A metatomical footbed ensures individual comfort by adapting to the wearer's foot, and the washable leather upper allows for easy cleaning of the shoe.

Metatomical footbed: This insole and last have been specifically designed to optimally support the arch of the foot. Special attention has been given to the big toe joint. Metatomical is a coined term combining metatarsal (referring to the midfoot bones) and anatomical.

KEEN.PROTECT: Can a shoe protect the toes? The answer is yes. The reason lies in the patented toe protection.
