When it comes to keeping children's feet dry and warm, the Southpole 4 is worth a look. Both the nylon upper and the flexible synthetic rubber outer shell are waterproof and, along with the sealed seams, provide good protection against moisture. The thermal properties come from the removable 6 mm thick Zylex insole with moisture-absorbing inner lining. For size adjustment, there is a bungee closure around the midfoot, and the snow collar can also be adjusted with a bungee closure. The Southpole 4 is completed by the PIONEER outsole made of synthetic rubber, which promises good grip even in slippery conditions.

Kamik's patented Zylex technology is the ultimate innovation for excellent warmth and moisture management. The revolutionary three-layer design wicks sweat away from the feet while retaining body heat inside and keeping the cold out. With additionally reinforced seams and heel protection, long durability is ensured. The inner shoe is easily removable for washing and drying. The Kamik 6 mm Zylex inner shoe keeps feet warm down to -32 °C, while the 8 mm Zylex inner shoe is suitable for temperatures as low as -40 °C.
