Michael Jordan is paying homage to his alma mater, the University of North Carolina, with the release of the Air Jordan 5 Retro UNC University Blue. The Jordan 5 UNC features the Tar Heels' signature University Blue across the uppers and is complemented by University Blue laces and lace locks. A black midsole with white and University Blue detailing separates the translucent blue outsole from the suede uppers. The sneakers are finished with a silver reflective 3M tongue that includes a black Jumpman logo. The Air Jordan 5 Retro UNC University Blue was released on March 5, 2023, with a retail price of $225.
