The Jordan 12 Retro Barons (GS), in grade school sizes, is a high-top athletic shoe with a black tumbled leather upper featuring radiating quilted stitch lines accented by a gray lizard texture mudguard. Jumpman branding appears on the tongue and heel tab, along with Jordan and 23 branding. The black and gray midsole features a full-length Zoom Air unit and a carbon fiber plate.

Decades later, the Jordan 12 was inspired by his time with the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A league affiliate of Chicago’s White Sox, where Michael Jordan played during the 1994 season.
