Jordan 1 Mid Dia de los Muertos (GS)

Released as part of the Day of the Dead collection from Nike, the Air Jordan 1 Mid Familia GS commemorates a holiday that celebrates family and the journey of life after death. True to its Dia de Los Muertos theme, these Jordans boast hues inspired by the southwest and Mexican culture. Its release in October was also a nod to Latinx Heritage Month. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Familia GS features a bold color palette with University Gold and Cactus Flower fuchsia. While the left shoe features "familia" on the outside in gold, the right shoe displays "para mi" text. These translate to "family" and "for me," respectively. The iconic Air Jordan 1 logo can be found near the ankle of both shoes. One of the unique aspects of this pair is the design and attention to detail on the Swooshes, which are gold with contrast fuchsia stitching. The shoes combine classic materials of the Air Jordan with a modern touch to pay homage to Mexican culture. The Air Jordan 1 Mid Familia GS was released in October of 2020 for $100.
