The Jordan 1 Low Bordeaux (Women's), in women’s sizes, is a leather upper low top basketball shoe. The predominant hue is Bordeaux, used for the tip, laces, lace panel, heel, and Nike Swoosh. Crisp white leather underlays are offset by the sail midsole and light gray tongue with a Bordeaux Jumpman logo. The Bordeaux outsole and rear heel Wings logo finish the shoe. The Air Jordan 1 was designed as a performance basketball shoe for budding NBA superstar Michael Jordan in 1984, with Air cushioning for added comfort and traction. The Low’s release followed in 1985, and the shoe went on to become a lifestyle classic for its versatile aesthetic that varies widely depending on color choice and fabrication.
