Robust and weatherproof winter boots with GORE-TEX membrane. The Torne 2 Biosole GTX by Icebug are tall winter boots that provide reliable protection against cold down to -30 degrees and moisture, thanks to the combination of sheep's wool and the integrated GORE-TEX membrane in the shaft. The upper material combines bluesign-certified polyester mesh with suede (LWG-certified). The splash guard wraps around the boots, providing protection against mud and moisture. Additionally, the boots are equipped with a special lining that perfectly insulates the feet against cold radiating from the ground, thanks to a blend of reflective aluminum and soft fleece material.
Featuring a Biosole outsole. In the Biosole outsole, natural rubber replaces synthetic rubber, reducing dependence on crude oil. Natural rubber has about half the climate footprint compared to synthetic rubber. The Biosole material is made up of 90% petroleum-free components, with 62% coming from natural rubber. This composition offers optimal traction year-round and remains flexible at all temperatures. Furthermore, the outsole has excellent abrasion resistance, ensuring a long lifespan.
