The Hanwag Fjäll is a typical winter boot with a classic Nordic look. It features an ultra-thin and lightweight GORE-TEX membrane made of stretched, microporous PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), which is highly breathable and permanently waterproof.

The HANWAG IceGrip sole is a winter composite sole that grips even on black ice. It contains a special rubber blend with fine glass particles in relevant profile zones, which grip the ice surface like sandpaper.

The boot is made from high-quality cowhide leather sourced from the German tannery Heinen, where the tanning process follows strict ecological guidelines and compensates for all CO2 emissions.
