The high collar is lined with soft fleece. Integrated heat membranes are located in areas of the upper body that are particularly sensitive to cold – between the shoulder blades and in the lower back. The vest features our own Axis SP camouflage. Using the accompanying smartphone app, these heat membranes can be adjusted to a desired temperature between 30 °C and 52 °C as needed. Additionally, the membranes can also be set to 38 °C, 46 °C, or 52 °C without a smartphone using the button on the chest. Unlike older heating technologies on the market, the heat membranes of the Härkila Heat Camo vest are flexible enough that the vest can still be easily folded. It is also safe to machine wash the vest. In the right pocket of the vest, there is a waterproof USB stick, allowing a power bank to be connected if desired. With a 10,000 mAh power bank, the vest can maintain the highest temperature of 52 °C for about 7 hours at an outside temperature of 0 °C. To save energy, the heat membranes automatically switch to standby mode once the vest reaches the desired temperature. They will then turn back on automatically if the temperature drops 1-2 degrees below the set level. The vest thus has a temperature-regulating function: the heat membranes turn off automatically when the body produces a lot of heat during high activity and turn back on when standing still or sitting. The vest features two side pockets, an inner pocket, a radio pocket on the left chest, and can be stored in the included waterproof dry bag.
