The centerpiece is the FreeFloat system with flexible hip fins for an almost weightless carrying experience, further enhanced by the back cover made of mesh fabric. It is combined with lightweight struts for optimal load control, ensuring that even heavier loads are well distributed to the hips. Speaking of hips: with the Maven 48, you can extend the padding by up to 7.5 cm, allowing you to adjust the backpack to your individual pelvic shape. The main compartment of the Gregory hiking backpack can be optionally divided and is accessible from the top as well as through a vertically oriented side zipper. Additional pockets on the front, in the lid, on the shoulder strap, and on the hip fins keep small gear and snacks well organized. A rain cover to protect the contents of the backpack is included.
