The G-Star 3301 Flare jeans feature a classic five-pocket construction inspired by authentic Western denim styles. This women's high-waist design combines a slim fit through the thighs with a distinctive flared leg opening. Constructed from Kir Stretch Denim Organic fabric, this represents the successor model of the world's first Cradle to Cradle Certified Gold Stretch Denim Fabric. The material composition consists of 98% organic cotton and 2% elastane, providing comfortable stretch while maintaining the authentic denim feel. The organic cotton fibers are cultivated without toxic pesticides or chemical fertilizers, improving soil quality, preventing water pollution, and protecting biodiversity while conserving up to 60% water compared to conventional cotton farming. The jeans incorporate RFTPi-Raw for the Planet Indigo dyeing technology, developed in collaboration with DyStar, G-Star, and Artistic Milliners. This advanced dyeing process uses 15% less indigo, 70% fewer chemicals, eliminates salts, and produces no salt byproducts during reduction and dyeing, resulting in water conservation and clean, recyclable wastewater. The elastane component is a biodegradable premium stretch fiber from Japan that holds a Gold Level Material Health Certificate from the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute. The fabric chemistry presents zero risk to human health and the environment. Care instructions include washing at 40°C using a mild process, avoiding bleach and steam, ironing at moderate heat up to 150°C, and tumble drying at 60°C on a gentle setting. The jeans should be dried in shade, washed inside out, and separated from other laundry items. The design features include a zip fly closure, G-Star RAW embroidery above the back pocket, and a branded leather patch at the back waist.
