At an outside temperature of 0 °C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the perceived temperature drops to -10 °C. Windproof components help reduce this wind chill effect. Wind cannot penetrate, effectively preventing the loss of body heat.

It features 2 zippered side pockets and 1 zippered chest pocket. The main material of the jacket (except for the sides) is equipped with a windproof membrane. The performance value of this membrane is 2,814 g/m² / 24 hrs (according to standard JIS 1099 A). It is adjustable with a drawstring and stopper.
