Product details

Robust winter hat for truly cold and windy days. Made from extra durable, wind- and water-repellent G-1000 Heavy Duty. The lining made of short-pile synthetic fur feels pleasantly soft against the skin. The brim provides protection during snowfall, and the ear flaps keep cheeks and chin nice and warm. G-1000 is a durable and versatile material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind- and water-repellent and very robust, yet extremely breathable and quick-drying. G-1000 is made from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which is treated with a thin layer of Greenland wax. The wax provides additional protection against dirt, wind, and moisture and can be easily applied thicker or washed out as needed. In addition to protecting against wind and weather, G-1000 also shields against harmful sun rays.
