G-1000 Eco is made from recycled polyester and cotton from certified organic farming, making it the ecological alternative in Fjällräven's G-1000 product family. Like the original G-1000 fabric, G-1000 Eco is characterized by high durability and functionality.

G-1000 Heavy Duty is robust, but G-1000 Heavy Duty takes it a step further. It is impregnated on both sides with Greenland Wax, making it more durable than ever before. However, since it is less breathable than the original G-1000, Fjällräven uses it for products where durability is more important than breathability. For example, as reinforcement material in areas that experience high wear and for many other bags and backpacks.
