The Kånken was created in 1978 to help prevent posture problems among Swedish schoolchildren. Since then, the backpack has become one of the absolute bestsellers. The backpack is made from durable, lightweight Vinylon F, which repels dirt and moisture. Thanks to the large zipper opening, the main compartment is easy to pack. There are two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front. The PE foam seat pad can be stored in the rear interior pocket when not in use, preventing the contents of the backpack from pressing against the back.
