Straight backs are healthy backs. The Kånken was launched back in 1978 as an article to help prevent postural problems in Swedish schoolchildren. The rucksack soon became an integral part of traditional and forest kindergartens in the country. More than 35 years later, Fjällräven's bestseller has saved millions of children from spinal injuries. The classic's triumphant success continues to this day, not least because the rucksack is just as useful on the way to school and work as it is on trips and journeys. The rucksack is made from hard-wearing, lightweight Vinylon F, which repels dirt and moisture. Thanks to the large zip opening, the spacious main compartment is easy to pack. The two flat side compartments and the zipped compartment at the front are ideal for all items that need to be quickly to hand when travelling. When not in use, the PE foam seat cushion disappears into the rear inner compartment, where it prevents the contents of the rucksack from pushing through to the back. It can be quickly retrieved as soon as you want to take a break. The simple yet practical carrying system consists of handles on the top and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. An address label is attached to the inside of the main compartment.
