Straight backs are happy backs. Kånken was founded in 1978 to prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren and quickly became a common sight in preschools and nature schools across the country. Today, 35 years later, Kånken has smoothened millions of backs around the world and has become one of Fjällräven's most popular products. This classic backpack is suitable for school and work commutes as well as for trekking and travel. The material is durable, lightweight Vinylon F fabric that resists dirt and moisture. The spacious main compartment features a large zipper opening that makes packing and unpacking easy. It has two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front, perfect for keeping small items within reach.
