Simple sun hat made from durable, water-repellent G-1000 Original. G-1000 Original is a robust and adaptable material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind- and water-repellent and very sturdy, yet extremely breathable and quick-drying. G-1000 is composed of a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which is treated with a thin layer of Greenland wax. The wax provides the material with additional protection against dirt, wind, and moisture, and can easily be applied thicker or washed out as needed. In addition to protecting against wind and weather, G-1000 also shields against harmful sun rays and pesky insect bites.
