The button attachment allows the hood to detach if it gets caught on a branch, for example. A popular winter favorite, redesigned from sustainable G-1000 Eco.

G-1000 is a durable and versatile material from Fjällräven. The dense fabric is wind and water-resistant and very robust, yet extremely breathable and quick-drying. G-1000 is made from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, which is waxed with a thin layer of Greenland wax. The wax provides the material with additional protection against dirt, wind, and moisture and can be easily reapplied or washed out as needed. In addition to wind and weather, G-1000 also protects against harmful UV rays and annoying insect bites.
