After being unfolded under the southern sun, the fibers and seeds are painstakingly combed out of the cotton fluff to create a product of pure purity and softness. Italian spinning mills produce a yarn from the extra-long fibers that is double-twisted, providing exceptional strength and high durability. Through the additional finishing process of mercerization, Fil d'Écosse achieves its silky sheen and unique color intensity.
