Falke No. 9 Pure Fil d'Écosse is made exclusively from "Karnak" cotton from the Egyptian Nile Delta. After unfolding under the southern sun, the fibres and seeds are painstakingly combed out of the cotton wool to obtain a product of pure purity and softness. Italian spinning mills use the extra-long fibres to produce a double-twisted yarn that is particularly strong and hard-wearing. The additional mercerising process gives Fil d'Écosse its silky sheen and unique colour intensity. Falke No. 9 Pure Fil d'Écosse comes in a wide variety of colours, both in plain knit and ribbed look.
