Product details
Only Karnak cotton from the Egyptian Nile Delta is used for No. 9 Pure Fil d'Écosse. After unfolding under the southern sun, the fibres and seeds are painstakingly combed out of the cotton wool to obtain a product of pure purity and softness. Italian spinning mills use the long fibres to produce a yarn that is double-twisted for extra strength and durability. The additional mercerising process gives Fil d'Écosse its silky sheen and unique colour intensity.
