It begins with the soft undercoat of 18-month-old camels, which is painstakingly sorted and washed after the first shearing from the coarser hair. Subsequently, our specialists in Italy process, spin, and refine the fibers by adding pure mulberry silk, considered the highest quality and most valuable natural silk. The refined yarn is particularly durable, climate-resistant, and recognizable by its typical slightly reddish hue.
