Product details

The Mongolian cashmere goat is native to the high mountains of the Himalayas. Despite the prevailing harsh and icy climate, it is provided with natural warmth by its fluffy fine undercoat. Each cashmere goat produces only 150 to 200 grams of the precious down annually, which is hand-combed from the fleece. In Italy, the delicate fibers are finally spun into wonderfully soft cashmere yarn. The special quality of the yarn is characterized by outstanding natural thermal insulation with a low weight, giving colors a unique brilliance. Furthermore, the extremely high softness and smoothness of cashmere can hardly be surpassed by any other natural fiber.
