The Mongolian cashmere goat is at home in the high mountains of the Himalayas. Despite the prevailing harsh and icy climate, its fluffy fine undercoat provides it with a natural warmth. Each cashmere goat produces only 150 to 200 grams of the precious down annually, which is combed out of the coat by hand. In Italy, the delicate hairs are finally spun into a wonderfully soft cashmere yarn. The special texture of the yarn impresses with an outstanding natural heat insulation at a low own weight and gives colors a unique radiance. In addition, the extremely high softness and suppleness of cashmere can hardly be surpassed by any other natural fiber.
