The Mongolian cashmere goat is native to the high mountains of the Himalayas. Despite the prevailing harsh and icy climate, it is provided with natural warmth by its fluffy fine undercoat. Each cashmere goat produces only 150 to 200 grams of the precious down annually, which is hand-combed from its coat. In Italy, the delicate fibers are spun into wonderfully soft cashmere yarn. The unique quality of the yarn is characterized by outstanding natural thermal insulation at a low weight, giving colors a unique brilliance.
