On demanding ski tours, you need to carry a lot of equipment, including a change of clothes, shovel, probe, ice axe, and helmet. It is essential to stow everything in a way that doesn't restrict your freedom of movement while keeping all necessary items easily accessible. For climbing passages or rock contact, the backpack must also be robust and stable to ensure your equipment is safe and protected at all times.

The Expedition 36 backpack provides everything you need for tours in alpine terrain or on expeditions, allowing you the freedom to forge your own path. Despite its extensive features, it remains lightweight, enabling efficient and quick movement. The PFC-free outer material is water-repellent and durable, ensuring your belongings are well protected. The large main compartment, equipped with compartments for safety gear, offers ample space and is accessible via a roll-top closure as well as a side zip. A compartment at the bottom of the backpack is designated for climbing gear or crampons. Additionally, the minimalist design includes two more compartments: a quickly accessible front compartment ideal for a weather protection or insulation jacket, and a side zipped compartment for a drinks bottle or ski touring skins.

The Expedition 36 features a modular equipment attachment for skis and two ice axes, which can be added as needed. For carrying heavy loads, the back system is reinforced with an anatomically shaped back plate that can be easily removed when not needed, saving additional weight. The comfortable hip belt includes gear loops on both sides for attaching ice screws, carabiners, or other mountaineering equipment.
