The production takes place in Germany, minimizing transportation emissions, and DRASSN offsets its carbon footprint through the Eden Reforestation Project. The hat is named after the biodiversity community of Tännesberg and symbolizes high-quality, sustainable products. Each beanie model by DRASSN is named after a location in their home district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab, and the knitting pattern is inspired by the surroundings.
