Direct Action Dragon Egg MK II Backpack in Adaptive Green. The Dragon Egg MK II Backpack is a 25+ liter backpack suitable for both short patrol missions and as a larger EDC backpack. It features three zippered compartments. The main compartment includes an internal hydration system pocket and a mesh pocket, as well as a central hose exit for a drinking tube. The rear compartment offers a padded sleeve that securely transports multi-band radios or laptops up to 15 inches. The front pocket of the Dragon Egg has a zippered mesh pocket and an internal organizer for notepads, GPS devices, writing tools, and other small items. Two newly designed side pockets can hold small and flat items. The pockets are equipped with an expandable elastic cord, allowing for a standard U.S. canteen or a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle to fit inside. The Dragon Egg also features a soft velour-lined zippered pocket for glasses, phones, etc. Additionally, the backpack has a daisy chain webbing running along the seam of the front panel for attaching carabiners or similar items. The laser-cut system, compatible with MOLLE/PALS, makes the backpack fully modular while maintaining a discreet appearance. Thanks to its egg shape, the backpack has a lower height and width compared to other backpacks with similar capacities, making it more comfortable to use with belt kits or ballistic vests. The carrying system is based on comfortable shoulder straps and an internal stiffening structure in the back. The hip belt is removable and can be stowed away.
