The reduced contact area and large ventilation channels of the Deuter Airstripes back system, combined with perforated shoulder straps and hip fins (with pockets), ensure maximum air circulation and an even weight distribution for a close, secure fit on any terrain. A flat lid allows for head movement, even when wearing a helmet. Loops on the shoulder straps keep the carabiners of the via ferrata set within easy reach. Additionally, a large front zipper and side pockets make accessing gear easier.
