The reduced contact area and large ventilation channels of the Deuter Airstripes back system, combined with perforated shoulder straps and hip fins, ensure maximum airflow and an even weight distribution for a close, secure fit on any terrain. A flat lid allows for head movement even when wearing a helmet. Loops on the shoulder straps keep the carabiners of the via ferrata set within easy reach. Thanks to a large front zipper opening and side pockets, the gear is always easily accessible.
