The Freerider impresses with its well-thought-out winter features, such as the completely foldable back opening. This not only provides an optimal overview of the gear but also keeps the back system dry when the backpack is set down. If any snow does get onto the carrying system, the new robust, breathable, and snow-repellent material ensures a dry back. Safety is also a top priority with the Freerider. The touring backpack has a separate and easily accessible safety compartment for a probe and shovel, keeping the essentials within reach in case of an emergency. Additionally, there is a new variable fixation system. With two separate straps, skis, a snowboard, and snowshoes can be quickly attached to the outside of the backpack: skis can be secured diagonally or in an A-shape, while the snowboard and snowshoes can be positioned vertically. Furthermore, the versatile attachment straps can also be used for side compression.
