Equipped with the Lite carrying system and made from a new material that is durable, breathable, and snow-repellent, the Freerider Lite is extremely comfortable to wear. Sweaty, wet gear and clothing can be stored in the front pocket, keeping the contents of the main compartment dry. Deuter has also equipped it with a new modular attachment system. Skis, snowboards, or snowshoes can be secured to the outside of the backpack with two special, stowable straps that attach to the gear loops of the backpack: skis diagonally, snowboard and snowshoes in an upright position.
