The Freerider impresses with its well-thought-out winter features, such as the fully opening back panel. This provides an optimal view of the gear, while also keeping the back system dry when the backpack is set down. If any snow does get onto the carrying system, the new robust, breathable, and snow-repellent material ensures a dry back. Safety is also a top priority with the Freerider. The separate and easily accessible safety compartment for the probe and shovel keeps the essentials within reach in case of an emergency. Additionally, a new variable fixation system allows for quick attachment of skis, snowboards, and snowshoes to the outside of the backpack with two separate straps: skis can be secured diagonally or in an A-shape, while snowboards and snowshoes can be attached vertically. The versatile attachment straps also serve for lateral compression.
