The Deuter AC Lite 30 and the women's version, the AC Lite 28 SL, cost just 110 euros - very little for a robust, well-made hiking rucksack with a mesh back and wonderfully airy straps. It even comes with a rain cover. As there are no load control straps, the load capacity is limited to six kilos - which is almost always more than enough for day hikes...
