The palm side of the new CONTEC "Chili" features profiled silicone surfaces that ensure a lasting grip on the handlebars even in wet conditions, while effectively absorbing shocks from the ground. In contrast, the backhand side is made of breathable Lycra fabric and extra-thin mesh inserts for cooling during the ride. The terry cloth trim on the sides is there for when the wind doesn't dry all the sweat from your forehead.
