Our story began around 200 years ago when Cyrus and James Clark crafted the first pair of slippers from sheepskin remnants. What was then seen as a combination of craftsmanship and a clever idea was a true innovation for its time – and we remain committed to that standard to this day. Even now, every new model starts with a handcrafted last, traditionally carved from a solid piece of wood. At the same time, our shoes incorporate the latest technologies, innovative constructions, and contemporary materials – resulting in designs that are perfectly tailored to the demands of today's world.
