29 Years of Commitment Against Racism

YB's commitment to fighting racism and discrimination has a long tradition. 29 years ago, YB first took to the field wearing a jersey with an anti-racism message. At that time, the phrase "Together Against Racism" was emblazoned on the chests of YB players. The eponymous association, initiated by the Bernese football local HalbZeit, was founded in March 1996 and will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year.

Since then, YB has been actively involved in various partnerships and projects against racism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, sexism, and all forms of discrimination, advocating for a diverse and open society.

Because our stance doesn't end after 90 minutes, we now have the fitting #YBFOREVERYONE collection featuring a hoodie, t-shirt, scarf, and socks.
