Black Diamond Belay

New version 2023. The Black Diamond Belay Parka is designed to withstand the toughest belaying conditions during winter mountaineering and any major route. It provides warming protection while your partner struggles on the wall. Our warmest synthetic jacket, the Belay Parka, features targeted inserts made of Primaloft Rise 200 g/m2 as well as Primaloft Gold Cross Core insulation throughout the body, shoulders, and hood. An outer membrane made of PFC-free 50D ripstop protects against wind and weather, while a 20D nylon taffeta lining offers an additional warming layer. A two-way zipper allows access to your belay system; various generous pockets (handwarmer pockets, chest pockets, and multipurpose inner pockets) provide space for gloves, water bottles, and other essential gear.
