The Birkenstock Arizona EVA (standard version) for women's feet stays true to the Birkenstock ideals and features an anatomically shaped and cushioned footbed as well as a slip-resistant outsole. However, they are not made of cork and leather, but entirely from ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, or EVA. The advantage of this skin-friendly, lightweight plastic is that it is waterproof and can be easily washed.
