Padded bottom extends the full length of the bag. Between the padding is a wooden base (in the middle third), which prevents the bag from sagging in the middle.
Otherwise, the bag is unpadded to maximize capacity (it is not recommended to use the bag for camera equipment).
Inside, there is a brass loop for attaching keys, accessories, etc.
There is also a mesh pocket inside for essentials (perfect for quickly finding important items).
Leather corners protect the corners of the bag as well as the items inside.
