Upcycling - turning old into new

This universal bag is versatile. Its practical size is perfect for small items, stationery, cosmetics, or as a first-aid kit, but it can also be used as a handbag. A black fabric is sewn inside, and there is an additional 12 cm zipped compartment for small items. Above it is our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch. With the practical handle, the universal bag can easily be taken anywhere. The decorative design is guaranteed to be a highlight.

The material, made from recycled fish food bags, is very durable and water-repellent. If anything spills, it can be washed off easily. Each product is handmade and therefore unique, so the look and texture of the material can vary slightly. This universal bag only has differences in design on the back; the front is identical. Due to this small difference, a design selection is not possible, and it will be delivered according to availability.

All our products made from cement bags, rice or fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the seal of Fair Trade in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade, making each one unique. The material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was first a fish food sack and, in its second life, a rice sack before being transformed into these noble accessories.
